Book Review: Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

Image
Being a huge Harry Potter fan and after reading all Harry Potter books more than 5 times, I was super excited to get my hands on Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. The way J K Rowling has expanded the world of wizard and Hogward's was fascinating, enchanting rather. There have been times when I take any Harry Potter book and spend nights reading it. The way Harry along with Ron and Harmione faced which was thrown in their way, was really encouraging. From fighting Voldemort and his followers to cherishing friendship and family to quirky moments of their dating life, the Harry Potter book had it all in its own little world of Hogward's.
Once the seventh book, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollow was out, I thought it was over. Especially after reading the Epilogue, I was really craving to read more about the world without Voldemort in it. A world where Harry is a regular Dad and Ron and Harmione together. Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is an answer to all those who asked for …

Voices in Our Life...!!!

Image
We all have that tiny voice in our head, which keeps interrupting our lives, especially when we are stuck somewhere. Many times this voice is created by people around us. The path we take, the choices we make are all because of the influence of others. There has never been a time when our decision was our own. Whether it is pursuing an education or work choice, these choices have always been the consequences of something happened in your life.
Do we ever make or choose something of our own? There have been movies, books, video.. All talk about only one thing, Listen to your heart! But does it ever make noise? Does it ever make it possible for us to know? That is because there is never a heart which makes the decision. It has always been our head who does the work. Some dude in some ages has created a story about heart, saying the right and brain conflicting it, but the reality is it is all created by our own brain only. The heart is a creation of our own mind. Our mind has always been …

Book Review: The Broker

Image
John Grisham wrote one of the finest novel and I have loved his work. Hence, I picked up another edition of his thriller - 'The Broker'. Based on the review, it sounded very good and secretive, but honestly, I didn't find it that good compare to his earlier books like A Time To Kill, Runaway Jury to name a few. The story starts with a bang, it instantly grips the reader with many questions. But as the story develops it reaches a stagnant stage where the reader (at least me) felt bored and lost interest. The only thing kept me reading was the big secret. Obviously I won't reveal here what it is. For that, please read 'The Broker' :D

Broker talks about Joel Backman is "the Broker" who is one of the big broker-lobbyist in Washington DC, USA. He is well connected with  influential people within the government and made big money in a very short span time. Due to fall in some deal, he was convicted and pledge guilty leading to life sentence. Due to politic…

Time: Every second counts!

Image
Despite having 'N' number of watches in my cupboard when I need one, none of them works. Time – such a precious thing and we waste it every day of our life. We are under illusion that we have lots of time whereas in reality we don’t know how much time we have. We delay, we procrastinate, we forget but time goes on and on and on. Suddenly we realize we have not just lost the time but we also lost the opportunities.
What an irony that we acquire various gadgets or watches to show us the right time but we don’t know when is the right time. We have taken time for granted and we realize the value when it is lost. Acquiring watches will not give me the time neither it will tell me that right time of my actions. It’s our instinct, our senses which tells us the right time. Often we ignore what we feel or what our instinct tell us because we are too much deluded by our surroundings. We are people who get easily influenced, easily made to believe.
