Faces of Darkness

We all have dark side; some might show it, some will hide it with what appears to be pretty side. But what this darkness is? What this darkness is all about? I came across this thought when I saw the episode of a high school series name ‘One Tree Hill’. The show is about high school and different types of people living their life. This particular episode is about a boy who is treated as nothing in the school. He is neither acknowledged nor been part of any group. He is no one in high school and he gets tired of being treated like this. He quotes, “It always hurts and hurts every single day.” In four year of high school, very few people actually spoke to him. He took many anti-depressant tablets and didn’t come to school for 2 weeks and no one realised. This episode is one of the finest episode and it makes us wonder about our past life in school/college. When I look back or even now, I can associate with the character of the boy. Many of us go through a phase where either we are

But over a period of time, I realized it is not just about life & death. We are puppets in each phase of our life. When we were kids, our parents and teachers had the control, in college friends and again teachers had control, in office our boss has control, after marriage our life partner has a control and it goes on and on till God pull the string and we are dead. I have read so many books and quotes where people say you are the leader or controller of your own life but how many times have we actually controlled our life? How many times jealousy has not over taken your emotions, how many times you have stopped crying over broken re

Live and Let Others Live

Sometime in life you meet people who don't live their own life and don't let you live yours. Constant nagging, constant cribbing and constant mental torture will obviously physic anyone. We live our life thinking others can't affect us. We are in the illusion that our life is controlled by us. The truth is that our life is never in our hand. We try to be happy, we try to reach the top and their are these factor, people who will pull you down again and again. These people can be your friends, your cousins or your parents. They will purposely or unconsciously will lead to your failure. You try to concentrate and focus on what you want but you keep on falling down. Your confidence and self respect is low. You doubt your capabilities. You perform bad because of the influence of these people. Then I thought, why? Why these people don't want me to see happy or achieve something? Why they want me to fail? Is it because they expect others things from you? Or they want you
