Book Review: Notebook

Notebook.. Note for all the lovers! I was never a big fan of love story and never attempted to read one. But when I heard a lot about Nicholas Sparks and his work, I thought let me give a try to Love Story. So I picked up Notebook by Nicholas Spark and I must say its simple, sweet and sober love story. It shows 3 important phases of a person’s life. Teenage life, Adulthood & lastly Old age. It begins with the phase three, where an elderly man is reading a story to old women who doesn’t know him and doesn’t know what’s going on. Lier is on fire...!!!!

LIE... Its a 3 letter word but it has destroyed more than 3 million people's of life.. Dictionary meaning of LIE is a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood but every day every where every time someone or the other will lie.. lie about work, lie about studies, lie about relation and so on.. Sometime I really wonder who created this lie.. I never really understood whether it’s ok to lie or it’s not.. Even I lied or to put it in nicer way hide the truth. Still however you put it, its meaning will never change. In one movie it was said that the greatest crime you do is LIE and not Theft because when you lie you steal a person’s right to know the truth. I so much agree with this statement. Still question remains the same. Why we lie? Why we hide truth from people? Maybe it’s because we are too afraid to tell them the truth or we don’t want to hurt them by telling the truth or is it fear of telling the truth. Whatever
